ioStudioTech AS is a company developing applications and embedded electronics for marine and subsea control systems.
ioStudioTech AS is located in Egersund on the south west coast of Norway and has since 2009 developed a framework for implementation of control systems for marine and subsea applications. The company was founded as Egersund Marine Electronics AS.
Thorleif Robertson was the founder of the marine electronics industry in Egersund in 1946. The Robertson autopilots and radios have been installed in many vessels world wide. ioStudioTech is a branch of the Robertson marine technology cluster.
ioStudioTech is an active participant in the R&D cooperation between the maritime electronics and software companies in Norway through the OpenRemote project.

Øyvind is the founder of EME and later ioStudioTech AS. He holds a master degree in control engineering from NTNU / Department of Engineering Cybernetics. He has experience from working in R&D projects for development of naval missiles, autopilots, instruments, compasses, IMU, ECDIS, NMEA networks, subsea electronics, control system configuration and more. His specialty is software modelling and simulation of software to deploy on embedded electronics. He also has in-depth knowledge of marine and subsea control systems.

Jørn Tore holds a master degree in control engineering from Universitetet i Stavanger / Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He has long experience from working in manufacturing and R&D projects for embedded electronics.
